At Madstun we normally have traditional snow-filled winters still, at least from january and onwards. We have an abundance of open nature, either as a ski track directly above the house, with beautiful views over the Randsfjorden lake, or within a 10 minutes drive, open marshlands and forests stretching wide and large. This winter has been as winters should be in the highlands of Norway, dry cold weather week after week and a deep blanket of snow.
